Happy Drink Up Week, River City. As much as we love a good cocktail, sometimes it’s nice to enjoy something a bit softer.
Whether you’re the designated driver for your squad or just looking for something tasty + nonalcoholic to sip on, we’ve got five different spots for you to snag a mocktail from. |
|
|
🍹KC Kombucha, 3326 Broadway Try their Drink Up Week special O’Razzmatazz, or save $1 on a sampler flight until Sun., July 31.
🍹Bottle & Barlow, 1120 R St. Check out their Island Boy Mule — which combines flavors of lime + pineapple with pandan — and get yourself a fresh haircut while you’re there. 🍹Iron Horse Tavern, 1800 15th St. Come for the Guava Have It, featuring a refreshing medley of guava, lemon, OJ, soda, and syrup, and stay for the mac + cheese bar.
🍹Ro Sham Beaux, 2413 J St.
With a new menu everyday, this bar offers a selection of natural wines + low to no alcohol cocktails such as its Seedlip Garden — an herbal blend of rosemary, thyme, and spearmint — as well as specialty foods like their summer salad.
🍹Mas Taco Bar, 3535 Fair Oaks Blvd. It isn’t Taco Tuesday without a Virgin Mas’garita — the Arden-Arcade eatery makes it with agave, lemon, lime, orange + soda. |

Well, we’re green with envy. Just look at these juicy, farm-fresh strawberries. Plucked from nearby Granite Bay, the summery fruit will be used for Scorpio Coffee’s müesli and toast, which we think sounds nothing short of a breakfast fit for champions with Greek yogurt, and walnut + oat granola. Find it at 1905 15th St.
Pro tip: The cafe's seasonal matcha latte is a must try with ceremonial grade chiran matcha. |
